Glacier Kitty is safe and sound, and with his new mommy (not pictured here, that’s me cuddling the little guy before handing him over). Wasn’t able to trap him–had to resort to getting his trust enough to scratch behind his ears, then carefully grasp the scruff of his neck. He’s very young, I’d say still less than a year old. He wants to be loved so badly, but is still afraid. He’ll get over that, I’m sure.
The park is now empty; all the visitors have left, and so it’s good Glacier Kitty went to his new home before I have to leave. I won’t worry about him up there in the snow, crying to be fed.
I’ll miss the little guy.
