Floris Von Breugal’s name rings a bell (and sends spellchecker into apoplectic fits). I’m not sure where I’ve heard the name before, perhaps over at the Fred Miranda Forums, but in any case I just received an email from Al Knolls with a link to Floris’ blog.

Wow. Just…wow. Arial pictures of the Carrizo Plain greeted me. As I scrolled down, I was consistently wow-ed by the inventiveness and technical expertise of this talented ‘tog. The one that I kept coming back to, though, was the entry on using UV (blacklight) to make stunning, eerie images of glowing minerals in night exposures. Holy carpe dieum, what a great idea!
