Hi Edie,
It was so wonderful to meet you and Mike yesterday. I arrived at the Southside Drive spot and managed to find a spot to park (wonder of wonders). There were around 20 photographers there, but I got a good spot for myself. I barely had enough focal length to get the shot, but I did get it. For a few hours, I really thought that we won’t see the firefalls. But then it was 5:10 pm and magic happened. I came back to around 6 pm to take Mike and you out to dinner at Curry Village, but you guys had left. Anyway I wanted to thank you for all the updates on your blog. They have immensely useful to people like myself. I look forward to meeting you again.

Looks like it is location, location, location. Maybe my view didn’t have the punch, but I tried to represent what i saw last night. Nikhil, nice to meet you last night and I’m glad it worked out for you!
