All too often I see people packing it in far too early around here; Tonight was a prime example. This sequence (straight from the camera, no post processing) shows the light fading and then returning.

Oh My Gosh…Each and every image captured a completely different feeling of awe and wonder. I don’t think it would be possible to choose just one to represent what you captured. What a great gift of smaller images placed together in a line framed!!!

Hah! Great illustration! I almost never pack up until it is really just plain too dark to shoot – I’ve see the sky go wild well after sunset on too many occasions. (Just this week I was shooting the coast on what seemed like an incredibly gray and gloomy evening, but I had a notion that the muck might actually be merely a scrim which, when lit from behind at sunset, might reveal a great sunset. I was right…)
