I spent the night in the parking lot of the Grove of the Patriarchs, deep in the White Mountains of Eastern California. This was my last shot of the night.
I used a Maglite flashlight to paint the tree. In this case, I walked around the tree and painted it from different angles. Luckily there was a waxing moon, 1st quarter. That gave me enough light to move from spot to spot without having to light my way.
